2014 Multi-Culture Festival

NSCCAC joined in the parade of the Halifax Muti-culture festival on June 21st  for the very first time.  The organization partnershipped with The Chinese Society presenting the largest float in the parade.  The float was decorated with Chinese traditional red silk skirt. A long dragon run through the top of the float. More than 10 club members dressed in colorful Chinese costumers waved hands on the float. The float was followed by the club dancing group and the lion dance.

In the afternoon, the club presented 50 minutes performance at the multi-fest stage down at the seaport. The "Alamuhan" dance was picked to be presented for the second time later of the day during the Multi-festival opening ceremany.
